  • We accept up to two (2) fiction submissions, each up to 3000 words.

  • All genres and subjects are welcome as long as the material is not sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic or otherwise bigoted (free speech does not equal free hate). That said, please read a previous issue (all available for FREE right here) to get a feel for what tickles our weird little fancies.

  • We only accept previously unpublished work (that includes if the work has been published online anywhere like social media, blogs, etc.).

NOTE TO PREVIOUS CONTRIBUTORS:

We love you and adore you and want to see your work every day of our lives. That said.... please wait one submission 'cycle'  before submitting your stuff again so that we can give a fair chance to everyone. So for example, if you were published in Volume 1, Issue 1, please wait till we open subs for Volume 1, Issue 3 before sending in more of your glorious words/art/grocery lists. We're also going to be prioritizing new writers/artists/etc. though we are eternally grateful for you gracing our inboxes again <3

NOMINATIONS

We currently nominate for the Best of the Net Anthology and the Pushcart Prize because we think your work is to die for and we want the world to see it!

FINAL NOTE

Though we do not charge submission fees, we do have an optional tip jar that will pop up when you submit. No pressure, we love you all the same. Should you have the inclination and the means, tips will go towards paying for Duosuma and towards releasing print issues in the near future.
