Not Much of a History Lesson
Richard LeDue

They say Martin Bormann’s skull

was a plant:

covered with South American soil,

a mouthful of evidence

of life after death dental work,

while rumours he died of stomach cancer

waited to be digested

years after the Soviets captured

Hitler’s dog handler,

yet Bormann’s remains offered no apology,

no explanation for the sort of evil

that keeps good people up at night,

but just further prove that ghosts

need the living to haunt.
